motionprint: a typeface in motion
Motionprint is a conceptual typeface designed around the experience of going to a concert. Everything from the audience member's waking up in the morning and brushing their teeth , to the moshpits at the show, to the head bangning and windmills of the band members, was recorded. The actions were then motion tracked and translated into a typeface that is expressive of the experience of being part of a concert. Although a base set of traditional characters was developed, the typeface creates it's own language representative of a participant's actions.
